Welcome! My name is Kezlie and I am a mother and wife who has made sure to show my family that if you have a passion for something, never give up. My journey as a baker started when I was in high school. I wrote my first business plan then, and it took years for me to finally bring it to life. Now, as the owner of Brown's Sugar and Crumbs, I take pride in providing the freshest, hand-crafted desserts. My bakery is located in the heart of the Black Hills. 

I make sure to pay close attention to detail on everything that leaves my kitchen, where every crumb is a masterpiece.

Why I Charge What I Do

As a single, home-based baker, I take pride in crafting each cake with meticulous care and attention to detail. Every cake is custom-designed and handcrafted exclusively by me. Unlike larger bakeries, I do not have a team assisting with baking or decorating.

 

This personal approach ensures that your cake is not only unique but crafted with passion and expertise. While my prices may reflect the dedication and individualized service that goes into each creation, I believe the result speaks for itself—a dessert that is not just a dessert, but a work of art tailored specifically for your special occasion.
